5/29/2023 0 Comments Sig sauer srt kit p226![]() Anything that would reduce the stacking before the DA break would be welcome. ![]() I haven't tried an 18# hammer spring, but that would probably make the DA pull go from good to butter. I wish that it had a more positive reset, with a stronger feel for when the sear resets. ![]() I intend to do all of the above mods to my new-to-me 228, as well. If I could find someone reputable that would mill Sig slides for RMRs again  I would get another stainless slide, or two, and be back in the RMR pistol club. I also have a 226 SAO and love it a lot but don't carry it because the safety comes off too easy. With 147s it will put 3 rds into 2" at 50 yds with the new barrel. I can take a double action shot on my 1/2 scales at 50 yds easy. I bought a Sig threaded barrel and will be putting E2 grips on it as soon as they get here. I don't seem to have trouble with the long reset. There was really no trigger work to do as it already had an 18 lb spring and is beyond improvement. The old German pistols are about 5 oz lighter. On my 226, I traded my mom my 226R for the '88 model I sold her so I could get the 226. Okay? Does this mean that you and your's may be doing Sig work again? Or do you just want to know what we've done?
